Draft status and intended scope
These terms are a prelaunch draft and are not yet in effect. They are intended to govern the Fiscal Vitals mobile app and related website once the publishing entity approves them and adds an effective date. The current website is a prelaunch informational site, not an app download or live subscription offer.
The final terms must name the publishing legal entity. Public portfolio materials identify Momentary Lapps, LLC, but its role as the Fiscal Vitals contracting operator has not yet been confirmed.
Informational use only
Fiscal Vitals is intended to make public fiscal and economic information easier to inspect. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, credit, or professional advice. It does not recommend a security, transaction, political position, or course of action. Do not use it as the sole basis for a financial, legal, tax, voting, policy, or business decision. Consult the original source and an appropriately qualified professional when the stakes require it.
Charts, summaries, comparisons, estimated rates, and generated explanations simplify complex subjects. A visually prominent number can still require context about units, population, inflation adjustment, fiscal year, revisions, methodology, and source scope.
Public sources, timing, and revisions
The app is intended to present public records with source names, record dates or periods, and supporting citations. Public agencies publish on different schedules. Data can lag real-world events, be revised after release, use preliminary estimates, or differ across sources because definitions and methods differ. A “latest” value means the latest qualifying record available to that app feature—not a real-time measurement and not necessarily the latest record now available on the source's website.
Source outages, delayed ingestion, caching, validation failures, and stale snapshots can affect availability. Where the app shows a source date, revision state, release window, formula, or fallback status, preserve that context when interpreting or sharing the result.
Fiscal Vitals is not a government service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. Treasury, Congress, the Federal Reserve, BLS, BEA, CBO, JCT, OMB, IRS, FRED, or another source merely because it cites that source.
Comparisons and explanations do not establish causation. Fiscal outcomes typically reflect multiple laws, administrations, economic conditions, emergencies, accounting treatments, and timing effects. Labels for a presidential administration, Congress, policy period, or event are organizational context—not proof that a person or policy caused a displayed change.
AI-assisted explanations
Supported app versions may use deterministic templates, on-device AI, Apple Private Cloud Compute, or an external cloud model to help interpret a question or select explanatory wording. Availability depends on device capability, user choice, feature configuration, and service status. Private Cloud Compute and external model processing are off-device even when initiated from the app.
AI output can be incomplete, misleading, or wrong. It may omit relevant context or misunderstand a question. The intended design constrains AI to source-backed evidence and validated output, but safeguards reduce rather than eliminate error. Always inspect the cited record and its date. Do not submit confidential information, credentials, personal financial information, or material you lack permission to process.
Purchases, trials, and subscriptions
No paid offer is made by this website. The reviewed app source contains a prepared, anonymous purchase-and-restore integration, but production billing products, legal links, store configuration, prices, availability, and entitlement behavior have not been verified as active.
If a subscription is activated, the app must show the store-supplied price, billing period, trial eligibility, renewal terms, included features, and a clear route to manage or cancel before purchase. Apple or Google will process payment under the applicable store terms. Any trial will convert only as stated on the store payment sheet. Store eligibility and localized terms control when they differ from preview copy.
Cancellation stops future renewal as governed by the store; it may not create an automatic refund for the current period. Deleting or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Restore purchases is intended for eligible purchases associated with the user's store account, but it must be tested in the submitted build before paid access is offered. For billing problems, use the store's purchase history and the route on the support page.
Acceptable use
Do not use Fiscal Vitals to break the law, infringe rights, harass or deceive others, misrepresent source data, probe or disrupt the service, bypass technical or usage controls, automate abusive request volume, introduce malicious code, or access another person's data. Do not present the app as an official government product.
Public-source facts may be reusable under the source's own rules. The app's software, design, branding, original writing, and visual templates may be protected by intellectual-property law. The final operator must confirm the license granted for app output before these terms take effect.
Changes, availability, and termination
Sources, devices, networks, providers, and app-store services can fail or change. Features may be corrected, limited, suspended, or discontinued. Fiscal Vitals should preserve source integrity and paid access obligations, but uninterrupted or error-free service cannot be promised.
The final operator may restrict abusive or unlawful use and may update these terms prospectively. Material changes should be dated and communicated through an appropriate app or store channel. Terms in effect when a purchase occurs remain subject to mandatory consumer protections and the applicable store agreement.
Warranty, liability, disputes, and governing law
The final version may include warranty disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity terms, dispute procedures, governing law, venue, severability, and consumer-rights exceptions. Those clauses depend on the confirmed legal operator, distribution territories, product risk, and applicable law.
No governing law, venue, liability cap, arbitration clause, class-action waiver, or blanket warranty disclaimer is asserted in this draft. Those terms must not be invented or copied from another product. They require owner and legal review before publication. Nothing in the eventual terms may waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Contact and completion gate
A dedicated, tested Fiscal Vitals legal/support address has not been verified. No unverified address or form is presented as a working contact channel.
These terms are not store-ready until the operator, contact channel, effective date, territories, live feature set, purchase terms, and jurisdiction-specific clauses are approved.
